Electrical Product Testing

The Central Electronics Centre (CEC) provides a comprehensive testing infrastructure for a wide range of electrical power devices including UPS systems, inverters (including PV inverters), stabilizers, and various power supplies. Designed to meet industry and regulatory demands, these tests are conducted in compliance with IS/IEC standards and ensure that the devices perform reliably under normal and extreme conditions.

Our facility is equipped with Programmable AC and DC Sources, PV Simulators, Current Shunts, Power Analyzers, and high-precision multimeters that allow us to test critical operational parameters with high accuracy and repeatability. Through this service, manufacturers and developers gain deep insights into the electrical behavior, durability, and safety performance of their products.

Parameters & Capabilities

CEC performs a diverse set of evaluations including harmonic distortion analysis, high-voltage endurance, insulation resistance, voltage and current behavior under load, and energy storage dynamics. Tests cover both no-load and loaded conditions, and evaluate key parameters such as output power, frequency and voltage regulation, overload protection, inrush current, and recovery behavior. All tests are traceable to national and international standards, providing assurance to both OEMs and certifying agencies.
